Viviane Lévy has been fascinated by music since her childhood and studied the piano and the cello. This many faceted artist works in Switzerland and France and devotes herself to orchestra and chamber music as well as teaching. Through her contact with people as Thomas Demenga and Jürg Wyttenbach, she has developped an interest in research beyond any intrumental specificity. As an interpreter from choice of contemporary music she has created many a work specially written foir her and has participated in multiple events as a pianist or a cellist (on a baroque or modern instrument) in France, Switzerland, Italy and Germany.
